    #9Pho is an excellent reminder to never judge a book by it's cover. Although I would describe the storefront as quaint, the food and service are A1 and exceeded all expectations. I ordered a Grilled Chicken and Rice Bowl ($8.99) with added mushrooms ($2.50). The order total was $12.67 including tax, which felt like a steal for the flavor-packed meal they served. Not only was the portion size enough for two meals, but it came within 5 minutes of ordering and was freakin delish. The energy inside #9 was peaceful, with a surprisingly spacious interior with booth, table, and bar seating. I would recommend #9 for lunch or a casual date night. Overall, I had a very positive experience and look forward to returning to one of my new favorite spots in Long Beach.

    This spot is surprisingly good! It's a bit hidden and questionable from the outside but the inside seating is super clean and nice. I got the lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl and it was SO good! I love that they added an egg roll and crispy onions. The beef has really good flavor and is thin sliced. I also got the vegan spring rolls which were super fresh and pair so good with the peanut sauce. I also tried the Jasmine lychee tea and it did need a bit of sweetness to it but still refreshing! Glad I stumbled upon this place, def my go-to from now on!

    There are probably 10 Pho restaurants in the few miles between my home and #9Pho. I literally will not go to a single one of them, because it's just not worth it in comparison to #Pho. The food is so tasty, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and they even carry coconuts for extra hydration. If you want Pho in Long Beach, please do yourself a favor and visit!

    We came here on a Tuesday night on a whim because we were craving some pho. Saw that this place had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. We ordered two bowls of pho: one with just beef and the other with everything (tripe, tendon, all of the good stuff). When the food came out, I was a little thrown back because it looks like they put black pepper in the pho? I've never seen that before but let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS. Noodles were the right amount of chewiness. Meat was tender and everything else was great. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about black pepper being in my pho but it added a nice peppery taste that complimented the broth's flavor. To top it off, the workers there were all very friendly and attentive. If you're looking for some pho and happen to be nearby, come check them out.
